When it snows you have a photo shoot. Not really but when it snows in Memphis you do. I wanted to take advantage of the snow while it was still around and also show case my dress (set) for the February sew your view challenge. The challenge features the Erica Dress from Style Sew Me Patterns. What I saw the back I knew I wanted a heart shape and so I went ahead and  created the heart shape pattern to get the silhouette I wanted. Because of the fabric I chose I knew it was a lot of print, so I needed it broken up a little so I decided to make it into a set that I could wear with a different top or pants. I was absolutely happy with the outcome and it seems many others too because I received a lot of love for it.

Here is my pattern review

Pattern Review

Pattern Description: Misses Erica Dress by Style Sew Me

Pattern Sizing: I chose size Large

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?  It did, but a made quite a few adjustments

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes they were.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the pattern and its a fairy easy pattern to sew and follow along

Fabric Used: I used a a light weight tie dye french terry from stylish fabrics

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:  wooo I made quite a few changes. I made the back into a heart shape. I made the neck band with ties, I made the the dress into a set and exaggerated the sleeves.

Would you sew it again? I may. we’ll see
