Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Whatever you choose to celebrate. This year has been a whirlwind of a year and I am absolutely thankful me and my family made it this far.
It’s also the time of year for family matchy outfits for lack of a better term, and this year of course family-style has been amplified with the stay at home orders. I figured this was the perfect time to sew (of course) but also sew for my fellas too.
Here are my sewing makes and a quick review of the patterns used.
Pattern Review
Pattern Description: Winter Vest Simplicity S9193 and Simplicity S1499
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? The Vests did look like the pictures
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes and as usual I used more common sense
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Easy Patterns to use
Fabric Used: I used a quilted fabric from JoAnn’s here are other suggestions Quilted Broadcloth Black, Quilted Broadcloth Burgandy , Navy
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: For my husbands vest I tapered it for a male fit. For my son’s I had to size down because his size was not on the pattern
Would you sew it again? I might.. Maybe with a different fabric
